I really wanted to go to this event, but it is on Easter weekend. It is likely that we will have family in town. Is there another 1/4 event at a nice track that we can all attend together in the spring? A track rental day is a blast.

Fellow Drag Racers,

The SCMC will be moving its Drag Day to Rockingham Dragway for the 2008 season. The first event is coming up next month on the 22nd of March and the Fall event will be on November 22, 2008. Some of you may be asking why the change of location? The answer is within the walls of Carolina Dragway of which they would not respond to any type of communication nor confirm for us any sort of event date. SCMC prides itself on respect to its members, vendors, business associates, and SCMC friends. In return we ask from all of our associates the same mutual respect.

If you are receiving more than one of these e-mails, please forgive me as I have several e-mail lists with addresses on them. I will also be starting a "hard copy" mailing list so you may get a form in the mail. If you plan to attend this event then simply download this form and mail it in with your check. The price for racing has not changed for 2008; however, due to some uncertainty, the cost of spectating has gone up to $10.00 a person. (Children under 12 get in free.) The SCMC plans to use its resources to make this event even bigger with more show participants and added sponsors and vendors. Rockingham Dragway is excited to host our event at their facility and look forward to both our Spring and Fall events.
