bottom line is that you can make a dyno read what you want. what really counts is how it runs in the street or track.

you cant make a dyno jet read what you want its not like a mustang where you can just go changing parameters to make numbers higher or lower.

just going by the average rwhp for a 346 h/c/i car. it is anywhere from 420-440. i was not going by engine size alone. i know of many smaller cubes making alot more power. to be honest the whole point of the thread was to call bs on 740 for that car. i don't care to get in a pissing contest. i know you and many on the board that are far more knowledgeable that i when it comes to cars. i just see many of the gto ls1 h/c/i results daily and know the average for them.

i wish i had the money to buy a GTO, because it would easily be over 740hp and everyone would think it could only have 420average

i don't go to ls1tech too often. i see many gto's. which is what the car in question is. the car add said forged stock cube h/c/i, with built trans. he never said what bolt on's he had. if you want to compare adam's gto with a 402 h/c with a 150 shot did 563/660. na the car did 450/460.
