BTW the Mustang Week website says gates open at 3pm although they never get to racing that early. You gonna be able to get off work a little early?

My dad went to Myrtle beach today and he said there was an @ss of mustangs riding around MB. Some guy with a roush got alittle froggy and my dad played the gap band on it with the G8. LOL

Its gotten progressively better. The year before last was horrible but last year was a lot better. No doubt this year there will be improvements if they intend to have that particular even be successful. Unfortunately the past two years got rained out early due to the typical southern summer evening thunderstorms but thats beyond MW's control. Im looking forward to going and the turn out of racers, spectators, vendors and the ladies is usually pretty damn good.

It was years ago.. lol idk ..... All I can tell you is I've never gone and sat in the cluck fest. I'm going to be to busy tuning new injectors, to go and sit all day to make 2 passes. :mrgreen:

Might not be that way, Bill usly runs stuff right threw, or stops whatever it is and lets us make passes, but still...Thats like this last weekend somebody asked us to come to NMB dragstrip and run....Hiiizzzeeellll NO. I went there back in 2000 and I won't even ride my 21 speed huffy down that beach again. I don't care if it is comparable to Zmax now. lol..

I really dont think youll find that to be the case. It flowed well last year and I got to lay the smack down on a few mustangs with the truck. :razz:

They've had it organized better the last couple of times, Chris made several passes last year in a 2 hr time frame.

ive beent heir on a tnt wednesday and only got 2 runs in because of stuff breaking and bikes getting dumped.

so im sure ull get more runs in than what your thinking..

we got a little friendly with one in the 500hp s13:) nothing like a guted drift car to have fun with.

Tech is usually hand them a ticket showing you paid, sign, wrist band, number the car. Im not saying it couldnt possibly be different for this event.

Matter of fact I have only had my truck checked once EVER for a ds loop and that was at SGMP last year. Luckily I had one then though. :)

it was yes... very surprising for a stock looking car.. we had a good time. we were parked next to them both of us were on small trailers and everyone else had 200k+rigs really cool guys tho looked over the car we had and were genuinely intrested in what we were doing. even looked over the cam signal issue we had and were showing us how to filter things out and get the square wave signal back..but that car was bad ass...

i herd it from my buddies house.. around 8pm ish was the burnout contest..

im not sure if it was last yr or the yr before we took a black evo with intake exhaust and a reflash won the drag event... had everyone and their mother wanting to run us on 33 lol... awd+2step 4 the win.. lol plus they start the drag on a slight pith...

i think it was between me and a green 92 convertible with radials and a Paxton charger...

Yeah theres not usually that many fast mustangs out there. You have to figure a lot of them are from out of town and cant exactly bring good tires with them if they drive the car to MB.

We're probably going in the mustang and dont plan on racing. Ive had a drywall router bit in my tire for 3 months so probably not a very good idea to take it down the track. :hysterical:

i have no problem removing said item from bed/cab to watch you drag a few skeet cars:) i know it can walk the dog along with randy:)

u 2 are kinda reason im still looking for a L when i get back on my feet with a job:) plus the fact i need a full size truck but dont want a crew cab or the run of the mill.

i had actually gotten aproved for the black 01 L that georgetown auto sales had last year... and lost my job the week i was going to sign the papers
than their was a grey one 01 i was looking at in charleston(well mt p) that i was about to buy like 3 months ago.. i went to sss to talk to randy about it and he was busy with people was going to have him take a look at it with me.. and ended up loosing out on the truck.. guy sold it that weekend.

I didnt get a good look at the damage but what I could see looked pretty bad.

if it dosnt have a tube front now is the time:) it can be fixed but as cheep as sn are in a junkyard with blown motors they could swap over parts easily to.

I havent checked YB yet. The track was good he ran a 7.99 earlier he just got way out of the groove and lost it.

Only reason i asked if it was your video is bc i would have been standing right in front of you. I had just got some chilli cheese fries and heard the turbo spool up when he did his burnout. So I walked out to the fence and was standing right where his first impact was. It was a nasty ride. Caleb jumped out pretty fast, which is always a good thing.
