'06 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 for Sale
You've always wanted one of these--here it is.
2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (wide-body model, similar to a ZR-1), Performance Yellow Exterior/Black w/Titanium Inserts Leather Interior; with approx. 5200 miles (Yes, 52 Hundred) Has the stock Z06 Alloy Wheels (285/19 F; 345/20 R; Goodyear F1, Z speed rated, run flats) 7.0 Liter (427 CI) 500+ HP, LS-7 dry-sump Smallblock (handcrafted and signed at GM). 6 speed Manual Transmission (only way a Z06 comes), Hardtop (again, the only way they come-the Z06 has an aluminum/titanium alloy monocoque frame with an integral semi roll cage) 2LZ package (top package in ’06), all available options, including Nav, Heads Up Display . . . everything.
The car is stock with the exception of a GM accessory Carbon Fiber “flip” spoiler and a GM “painted” Z06 Hood liner. It also has 3M protective film applied to the nose, front and rear fenders, roofline, mirrors, etc. (Meaning the paint is absolutely flawless--and yes, garage kept--no smoke--but I was caught out in the rain 1 time) It has the CAGS jumpered (GM’s “Shift Nanny”) and the fuse pulled from the dual mode exhaust (it’s loud all the time—but in 60 sec it can go back to stock).
Issues?
-- The lower “sacrificial” black front spoiler has been rubbed a couple of times coming out of the driveway. (new replacement is about $100)
-- The ashtray needs to be adjusted (It falls open on the latch occasionally--see guarantee below)
Interesting?
-- Still has the factory plastic in a few places—the drivers carpet, visors, etc.
-- It still smells new
-- 5th and 6th gears are “Overdrive.” On the highway, @60 MPH, the engine turns about 1200 rpm in 6th, and it will get 32+ MPG—about the same as a Honda Accord—if you can resist .
– Otherwise, the fuel economy is about: 3.5 sec 0-60 close to 0 MPG, and top speed (factory reported) —198 MPH. (YouTube it—I dare you)
-- 2006 was the first year the Z06 was produced in the C-6 (current 2011 body-style) —making it even more collectable
-- Performance Yellow/Black color scheme is the Factory Race Team color
The bottom line?
New 2011 as equipped: $85K +
KBB Retail: $49,370
My Price: $46,800
No Joy Rides. Buyer may/will test drive/have mechanic inspect with deposit only--the car is "as new" with the exception of normal tire/clutch/brake wear. This is a guaranteed price/deal—we’ll have the car thoroughly inspected/serviced at Hendrick Chevrolet (Certified Z06 Mechanic) and any issues will be addressed on the spot, at my expense.
