there was one on CL with ~25k miles, at bessingers on Sav hiway.
it was in bad shape, for such low miles, had been outside most of the time.

I have memories of rolling in Uptown Andrews in my cousin's 81 Z with a trunk mounted cooler of screwdrivers pumped out from between the rear seats via a bilge pump with an on/off switch.
Bantam Burger. K Mac?

I would rock the hell out of that camaro with some Skynard and a letterman jacket.

yep, that's it. i was AMAZED at how bad a shape it was in, for the low mileage. the t-roofs have leaked, and the rear side panels were sunfaded, IIRC.
just weird to keep it, not drive it, and leave it outside to dry rot & be sun bleached.
yeah, stereo was massive early 80's stuff. had like two booster EQ's or something.
just weird.
we were thinking our daughter could get two baby seats in the back!
beauty is in the eye of the beholder. i am TELLING you, the IROC-Z will be the "55 chevy/shoebox" of the future.
that, and prolly the 5.0 mustangs, but only due to Vanilla Ice ice baby...

Well I like it personally. I had a 77 and by best bud had a 76 four speed car with a 3.73 posi. I also have a good friend that has an 81 Z28 (brown and gold) he bought brand new when he graduated high school. Garage kept since it was new never saw rain. Looks like brand new 1981 vintage. Louvers on the back and all. The real surprise is the built 454 and turbo 400 under the hood. He still has the original motor and tranny if he ever decided to go back stock, though I doubt that will happen.
