these are AWESOME, i have two: one for work, one for home.

the Docking Station has a DVI output, and a Digital Audio output, so you can use it as a High Def movie source.

it also has a VGA, I use the DVI for one monitor, the VGA for a second monitor, and have dual monitors.

i shut the laptop lid, but put something in to hold it barely open & level so i can lay papers on it.

it has 4 USB ports, which are powered by the wall powerpack (the docking station uses a 90 watt pack, and you can use a 60 watt on your lap)

this means you can run a huge non-powered (750mg) USB hard drive without the computer alerting "too much power drawn on USB"

got a headphone jack on the side

i use a full size keyboard & mouse when docked at work & home

it's just awesome to set on the couch & use the laptop, and not say "dangit" i left that on the other computer, or to go on travel, and NOT have to shift all your junk onto USB drives. like i do all my college work, and i do it at home, at work, and in class, sometimes class in a different location.

both mine do really well on everything.
