Ok. Car needs interior put back together. (door panels mainly) Needs stripe kit and has 2 dents on drivers side. NO RUST ON CAR. Could use new tires.
But drivetrain is solid and car runs good. CLEAN title and no major wreck. All orginal car. With over 150k miles on it.
Car is white with maroon interior. v8 auto. (of course ss only came that way)
What would be a good price to offer?

Offer the guy $500, finish gutting the interior, take the glass out, weld in a cage, and go oval racing!

The ones I see on ebay are going for 5000.00 to 7500.00 in good condition. If it ragged out???

Not ragged out. Just not a SHOWCAR. A good 3step and new stripe kit and a paintless dent puller the outside would be a 8 out of 10. Right now it is a 4.

If the cell phone pics are any measure of the car's condition, all I can say is: It ain't mint.

no could use matching wheel/tires and maybe a good weekend of work to the outside. But motor sounds healthy and transmission shifts perfectly.

Those are one of my favorites. I have seen them go for 3k on up depending on condition. I would say around 3500 or so and start from there if it is a 4 out of 10.

Depending on how much is needed on the car I would say it was a good deal. 150k on a 305? Try to add up what you will spend to see if it is worth it to you.
I wouldn't pay over 3k unless the car was extremely nice. I haven't been following the price of them lately, but my last one I paid 2k for.
I sold my last MCSS for 2k in '03. It was an 88 with ~125k miles on it. With a stock 305 that was running pretty good.

I have owned 3 of them, my 1st one looked exactly like this next car except mine was blue:

This car belongs to a good friend of mine, he's signed up on here but doesn't post. He has had the car since H.S. (early 90's) I imagine some of you from Goose Creek have seen the car before as long as he's had it.

I have seen that around a lot. There is a nice yellow one running around too. Just looking at autotrader, the asking price for the SS is usually around 3500 and up. Some of them are real high.
This is the one that I have always liked. He has a video of the car at the track running mid 11's....pretty cool.

If I do pick it up it will mainly be a streetcruiser. With the low stance like the red one.
