I had fun on our last cruise, so I figure we will try and set something up again. I was talking to a few guys that went last time, and we thought it would be cool to cruise down to Beaufort. That way we can meet up with SWThomas, and Wade from Savannah could come up if they have time.

Im down for it. Id like to do it on a weekend when thie wifey is off from work. She said a while back when this was brought up that she would like to go too. That way I dont have to hear her bitch about me going to beaufort while shes at work makin money.

Ill edit this with some dates when I get home. The workday is over!

Do you guys want to cruise down in the early afternoon, and then meet up somewhere and have some lunch and bs for a little while?

Give Spencer some ideas of what you think we should do so he can scout a location where we can meet, eat, and maybe have some drinks.

What kind of food would you guys like? We have an Outback. There's a great Mexican Restaurant in Ladies Island. There are several really good seafood joints. A couple good oriental places. Let me know what everyone likes.

If that's cool with everyone else there's a really nice place called Gilligans that has some great seafood. It's really nice inside too. They have fish tanks at every table and a bar. There's a really nice view of the marsh at the back of the restaurant. They also have a deck for the smokers.

There is a lot of restaurants in the "dowtown area" of Beaufort, adjacent to the Downtown Marina and Park. They overlook the Intracoastal Waterway and there is a lot of parking there. Just a thought. I work most Saturdays.

This is true. I totally forgot about McFearsons BBQ. AWESOME RIBS! And Dockside is another very good seafood restaurant.

I have been ducking a certain black cobra :hide:

So are we going to get together around 10, and try to be down in Beaufort around noon. Grab some lunch, get some pictures, and see how much B.S. Daryl can sling :lol: Be back in Charleston by 6 depending on how much fun we have.

....and just to let everyone know. I'm going to do my best to make this trip, but Saturdays are very difficult for me to get off. I think we can get the most rides on a Saturday so that's why I agree its the best day.

I'm surprised you could tell. I guess you overheard some of the B.S that we go to D's to listen to every Thursday :lol:

I'm trying to diagnose a problem with my truck right now, but there are 2 other built trucks running pretty good that you could try. If both are too scared I'll still give it a shot with my slow truck...but like I said before I'm pretty sure I don't have anything for you.

Back on Topic......is Noon in Beaufort on the 15th of September good for enough people.

The 15th sounds good to me. That's right before I leave to go to Lightning Fest. I also forgot to mention Barbara Jeans. They have some awesome down home country food and almost the best crab cakes I've ever had. (The best are in Blatimore). I don't know what else you guys want to do while you're down here. I usually work on my truck for fun. I could get you guys on the Recruit Depot if you want. There some good fishing there if some of you want to bring your tackle. Or we could just drive around a site see.

I know Gilligans can if that's where everyone wants to go. We had a few dinners there when I was in DI School and there were about 20 of us.
