I was just informed that Bowman won't be open 7/18, it appears that they have an event the Saturday before the 18th. I'm going to talk to Ronald tomorrow to see what's going on.

Any suggestions from you guys?

The only other tracks that you guys go to I know the were abouts are dorchester and carolina. Dont see you guys going to carolina, but its the same distance for me. The way things go there I dont think we could get the race done.

Well as long as there isn't an event going on like there was last night, should be able to make it happen.

Keep in mind you might get the boot. If they tech. You need a cage Chris and a fire proof jacket if you run faster than 7:49 in the 1/8 mile. You also need a drive shaft safety loop.

I thought I would let you know. They are strict when it is a normal race day. Track rental is a little different.

Just talked to Ronald. He said that he could talk to the guy that is renting the track on the 17th (Saturday) , and see if we can race early that day. It looks like the price is a little higher than normal. Are you guys willing to pay a little more?

We can try to have all the TDL racing done between 4-5:30, and that means some cars will be hot lapped.

I will not be able to attend. I will be in Myrtle Beach for Mustang Week. Also FBody is going on this same weekend in Myrtle Beach.

Maybe we can push it back to the 4th weekend again. As soon as we narrow some choices down, Rob can set another poll up .

Go up to Darlington on the Thurs. 7/22. 5:00pm and there will be plenty of extremely slow and excessively polished Mustangs and Lightning's for that vette to pick on!!!

Fixed it^^^^^ And I'll say it again, the fastest stuff I saw run up there that was not owned by a shop were the members on this forum that went up there durring drag night.

And that'll probably be the case again this year.

Not all cars were slow. Evolutions and Fastlane had some impressive cars.

I am sure the vette would have fun trying to pick on some stangs!!!

Don't get me started. I can remember some fast cars out there. I also remember when somebody forgot to flip a switch and lost. I know there was only one race for most on here. Twice if you were lucky. Off Topic Sorry!

Did regular street tire cars ruin it or something? I have been to Darlington on a day with class racing and grudge racing and there were tons of passes made. Except when a wreck happened that caused a guy to get air lifted out of there.

Actually. By the time they tech'd the cars and started running. A strong thunderstorm moved in and the best I can remember. Cars only ran 2 times amd some only once!
