Need Help - Lexan Question

I donated a basketball goal for the neighborhood and someone broke the "clear glass?" backboard. What should I use as a replacement glass for this goal? Lexan? Plexi? It needs to work good as a backboard and be durable. Thanks,

you may need to look into a break-away rim too for those aggressive dunkers out there. This will help with the glass lasting longer. For the backboard I would look into a wooden or u/v protected plastic backboard to prevent those wanting to sue if they get cut from broken glass.
