I was watching the news the other night when they released the names of the men who died, and I found out there was one named Micheal "Mikey" French. I used to live with him when my parents kicked me out when I was 18. Very sad story he left behind a kid and wife. I'm sure all of these brave men will be missed.
A few of us on this site used Billy Hutchinson to cut our hair. They always ask me about my truck when I'm in there. I read this in one of the articles about the fire.
Capt. Billy Hutchinson, a 30-year veteran, was jokingly tagged “Lightning” because of his slow, deliberate pace. Hutchinson, 48, worked off-duty at a barber shop.
I never knew that was his nickname. Billy will definitely be missed at the barber shop.
