Has anybody tried or heard any pros or cons on these high voltage coils from performance distributors??
Looks like the fuel rails would have to be removed for installation cause they look higher?

Haven't heard anything either way, but from everything I have seen it is hard to beat stock coils.

i tried granatelli cops for a while and i could tell the difference immediately. i used them for over a year but i changed them out because i broke the ears off of a couple of them from over tightening them. i don't know how they would have done over time but they did well while i used them.

Only thing I have ever seen with some aftermarket coils is RFI issues. Seems to only be a problem on the throttle by wire cars, though.

My rule of thumb is if its from a company that looks fly bye night they are most likely some overseas made garbage. I've even heard not so good things about Granatelli when I had my Mach1.
Me personally would stick with OEM unless you have something that really needs more spark. I would find something else to spend $300 on.

completely not worth it unless you got something very major going on...your avg supercharged ford isnt going to need them...something more on the extreme side might be worth it though

Over the years I've read multiple horror stories about failures, cracking, desentegration, fire's bla,bla,bla,bla.
When it comes to Lightnings and coil packs, there's 9 second street trucks out there, and you know what? They run stock coil packs. Why fix something that's not broke?
