The motor looks great.........Get rid of that Carb and get you a Holley or Barry Grant speed demon and you will be set! Edelbrock carbs are nothing buy headach's.

that carb is what we pulled off my truck. ray built a holley for it and we stuck it on my old motor to make sure it was working properly. and sr. when im done i wat for us to compare receipts and see who went faster for less. LS FTW. get gapped

We have a stock 97 LT1 4L60e with 3.42's in a fragile 10 bolt spraying a 75 shot. Oh annd I will not discuss weight because weight doesn't matter when I'm slow anyway. :) Only weight reduction we did was remove the back seat. that was to mount the bottle. we run 10's n/a and 9's with a shot of gas in the 1/8th.

We have the motor pulled currently to get the tranny fixed because it was slipping from I guess too many times trying to get it faster. the tranny couldn't take the tq. And we have to replace an oil pan with one we got at the dyno day that doesn't have a hole in it.

Oh I did install a Bravada guage cluster that goes to 120mph and will be getting the intake powdercoated. maybe that will make it go faster. :roll:

i know what the black truck weighed on the same inaccurate scales i always use. and that was with the all cast headed iron block. you need to have it at the track for svt day like we will. i want to get gapped by that truck. i got a bottle if u wanna use it. i know i will.

Ai's ciustomer service Sucks and I wouldn't send my worst enemy there anymore. Besides he says South Carolinians ask too many questions and just do not TRUST his ability to pick what he wants for your vehicle. He's an ass imo. When i asked him even to just acknowledge my deposit he said I was being to unrealistic and sent my heads and money back and said he didn't want to do work basically for people south of the border. I refuse to go to LE so just fixing the problems we had and putting back together. I'm not the oly one Ai's been screwing lately but I woun't go there.

well :hail: lsjuan's were $2500-3k just last year without tranny. So I elected to do just a lt1. $1600 intake2oil pan/tranny/pcm/and wiring harness 47k miles on the od. We took it to the track a few times and will still take it to the track. If we line up against someone who's faster No biggie. I'll still sleep at night how about you? I would hate for you to lose a race and have your whole life ruined because this is all there is for you. See someone will ALWAYS be faster. My truck will run what it always has. so even if the :hail: lsjaun is fast.. does it really matter to me. nope not at all. I don't get all caught up in the juvenile BS.

So if you're wanting to start shit look elsewhere. I'm not playing.

i pm'd you Sr. and mike i paid for all the parts and i built it at school. its got all the good clutches hardened sprag and such, dont have all that much in it. labor is the expensive part but pete taught us how to do it now.

the ls1 port in the picks is nearly the same size(cubic inches) as my bb mopar ports

hmm how much for the intake runners on an lt1. I already opened up the tb opening for the 58mm. I have two intakes here one that I bought that the previous owner tried to do a home port job on. That one might puddle to much nitrous at the head to intake gasket. I'd have to let you look at it. the other I only opened up the tb opening to accept a 58mm or monoblade tb.

I also have a 93's intake that I will be opening up the tb for the mono blade but that one will just be placed on ebay since I have no use for it.
