I'm in the market for one though. I had a four inch cowl hood on it but it flew up on me one night at about 70 mph. Not fun. Looking at a six inch cowl to the windshield this go round. This one will be a lift-off with dzus fasteners securing it.

I would rethink the lift off hood with Dzus fastners. I have these on my hood and am not fond of them. What if you really have a problem under the hood such as a Nitrous backfire and have to get under there quickly. Not happening .

Saved the money, came home and got the widows tinted on my truck. Never been much for gambling. Reckon there's no reason to start now. I don't think I'll get out there today. Just got back from the Carolin Rides track day at Rockingham last night. Didnt get home till late.

A buddy of mine was supposed to be in the 275 drag radial shoot out last night but broke the crank in his 410 windsor on a practice run not 10 minutes after we got there. Ended up staying till about 5:30 and came on home.

I usually get out there around five o'clock or so and they are open then. I think they open about four but don't start running cars till later.

Just looked at the video. Looked like 2 maybe 3 car lengths to me? I did spray that run and was spinning out past the 60 ft mark. Don't know what the RCF ran but my car ran a 7.20.

The car ran a best last time out of 6.93. Didn't get get a speed because dorchester is crap and I was in the right lane. I think it'll do 6.80s though. Just need to get it dialed in.
