Check ebay. Ground Force 3" lowering springs for around $60 I believe. I know 3" springs and 3" block with ubolts etc is around 90.

I threw my stock springs out or you could have had them.

I have 3" springs on the front of mine. *added* Tires are 165 15 on 15x4 Centerline telstars with 2.5" bs FYI. No spacers.

Only time I scrap the valance is when going on to a trailer. Mind you this is cast block, cast heads, stock water pump, p/s etc etc. Heads alone weight a metric shit ton.

i like the way that sits ima go with 3 inch lowering coils on mine, first motor should keep the front tires on the ground. the second one i have no promises. hahahaha. i will have some pics up of my progress within a few days

Sweet. My motor was shipped out today so we shall see when it gets back on the road. Firewall was changed up,. there is no longer 2 pieces screwed in. 1 big piece was riveted in.

Doetsch (spelling) are the shocks I am currently running on the front fyi .

What secrets? There is no motor in the truck. It is just a normal run of the mill sbc. It will have shit old school 74cc heads. No port work nothing. Can post a pic if you would like.

I do not have any pics of the firewall if that is what you are talking about.

But, I do have a feeling that I will be running the Super Victor intake. Even though the heads will not allow it to flow so it will be way slower than your car.

I am thinking of adding some type of vintage style yenko stripe to it. I am unsure at this time though.

leave the black. its sexy for sure. i got a set of 3 inch coils i have to go pick up tomorrow. mine is a 98 body style and will be white on the outside. black under the hood and everything else. i was gonna do black but bennys truck is black and chances are the races ill be at he will be at. so im going white

See I want to be different because there is a lot of BLACK 1st gens out there. If I had the money I would probably paint it Sunset Orange Metallic and call it a day. BUT at this time that isn't in the build funds. lol

Only thing that pisses me off with the truck is that I need a tailgate. The tailgate I have on it is primered grey and is beat to hell and back. It has been like that since I got it and well one of these days I will do something with it.

yeah thats a small thing man, i have a truck that is almost a full roller all i need is some rear rims and i will have a full roller i have some tires for it. 33 10.5. it has Qa1 coil overs and all. and the frame is stripped right now and i am cleaning it up making it nice. i havent decided yet if im going to finish it or get it nice and sell it because i really want a stock suspension truck.

Build it. You already have the rear and suspension. Easier to get it to hook than stock suspension. Unless you are wanting to say "stock suspension"

There is a guy on craigslist that has a tailgate for 1st gen s10. He is askin 30 bucks for it. I emailed him, said it is in good shape with no dents. I was goin to get it for mine but i just sanded mine a did a lil work on it.
