It's time to go to something else...I am too old to drive a Lightning.(ha ha)
The truck has high milage...138,000...I don't know anything about the motor, except that I drive it every day...When I first got her, she dynoed at 375 at the rear wheels...but...I wouldn't know how fast it is now.......
I need $11,500.00 out of her, and I might take a partial trade-in...(FORD ONLY) Sorry...
I can send a couple of pictures of her, if you send me your e-mail address...
The price is Firm...I don't have to sell her. I just want to move on to something....old man ish!!!!

If you want to sell it, that price is too high. Here's (http://www.lightningrodder.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9255) a 2000 with comparable miles to yours and in great shape for 8,500$. And he can hardly sell his.

Randy: His truck has 25000 more miles than mine, and, it loks stock.
Mine has had a lot of suspension mods...(dropped) It has chromed stock wheels, bed rug, ARE cap on the bed, And a lot of other things.
I guess I will have to just drive mine tilll the wheels fall off of it. As I said before, I don't have to sell it...

Just tryin to help man, with the econ. the way it is now, I see them sittin on the for sale forums for months with no replies.
I dont think I could sell my 2000 for 11 grand, with a bunch of exterior an interior mods, Fresh (professional) paint, 70,000 miles with 1,500 miles on a Built motor, full race sutup (slicks/skinnies) and a bunch of bolt on's

Steve you are trying to sell your truck for Retail value i.e. Dealership pricing. And it is hard right now to sell anything. A year ago it would have been no problem to sell anything.

I know your truck is nice Steve, and LX is right. I hate the way stuff is selling now, I know a guy at work that just baught a single cab SRT 10 truck with 5000 miles for 20k off a dealer lot in summerville.
Not that I'm fond of that truck but a year ago it retailed for 44k.

Hell, it's like I said...I don't have to sell it. It has been paid for since the day I got it.....just an idea....
And, I might have just made a deal on the bike I really wanted....so, may just keep the L any way...

Yea its hard to find a "good" shop that will do anything classic these days.
Hoeltz and Norton and Richardson normally stick to insurance work.

Norton and Richardson won't do an all over unless it's an insurance claim, I wouldn't let them touch my stuff anyway. They put an SS spoiler and hood on a friends car and it looked like shit, they didn't even attempt to block the new body parts.

Go in their front office, as you look at the receptionist turn to your right, there's a clean cut black haired guy sittin behind a desk through the glass. Thats Dale Hoeltz, tell him Randy from Force Protection with the Lightning said you'd fix me up, and I'm sure he will take good care of you.
I send alot of buisness his way, and he takes good care of me and my buddies from work.
