Just installed my L&S oil seperator today & hope that puts an end to oil in the intake.

I felt the dime deal is just a bandaid on the problem.

Also the moto blue from rpm outlet is a POS. oil still got into my intake.

For the price i hope the L&S does the job, from the design & reading posts this is the only one that works on the supercharged engines.

We shall see, Bill

I see one guy had his on for 28000 miles and took it apart to ck and see if it was working. He said the intercooler was spotless. Good investment.

How long did you have the Moto Blue on? I have about 1,000 miles on mine, but did not clean the intake after putting it on.

Larry the moto blue helped a little but still allowed oil to go to the intake.
The moto blue is not a real oil separator but just a waste of money.
The L&S blocks the oil from the lower intake & separates the oil coming from the pcv valve to the intake by the IAC.
They claim their design also produces a vacuum in the crankcase via the pcv which if it does is a plus for ring seal. V/R Bill

The l&s will perform the same as the motoblue, its just a gravity seperator. Air is lighter than oil so oil goes into the bowl and air goes out the tube. The downfall to this is when boost creates massive ammounts of vaccuum, oil gets sucked up regardless of how great the construction is.

Nither of them will completely rid the intake of oil, the motoblue and the l&s reduce the oil with gravity on the passenger side and a vent with the removal of the vacuum lines on the driver side. The quality however, on the l&s is far superior to the motoblue but you pay for it.

The only true way to completely remove all the oil from the intake is a pcv delete, with all three of the vaccuum areas; lower intake, passenger side pcv and driver side pcv vented to atmosphere with the use of filters. The downfall is you need to have compensations made in a custom tune.

Vaccuum is present there regardles of an oil seperator I have no idea WTF they are talking about the oil pump creates that ???????

Hate to add fuel to the fire but here's some more confirmation to what I am saying.

Checked my intake hose & throttle body for oil after installing & found none, it was dry as a bone.
So far so good with the L&S.
